With a compact, slim design and a wide range of options and features, the TSL Multi-Technology card reader series offers a solution for every type of facility.
Supporting RS-485, OSDP and Wiegand communication interfaces and leading authentication technologies, ICT TSL readers enable the rapid deployment of secure access control technology.
Available in three sizes, with multi-technology card reading capabilities, an optional keypad and a choice of black or white.

TSL readers can read a wide range of card types:
- 13.56 MHz smart cards (MIFARE and DESFire)
- 125 kHz low-frequency cards, including PSK (phase shift keying) and G-Prox II support.
The multi-technology reader combines both capabilities in a single device, providing facilities with a migration path to move from legacy cards to the latest technology. This is the ideal solution for organisations that do not wish to replace all their existing cards at once.

The Bluetooth/NFC feature allows a smartphone to be used as an access credential, providing maximum convenience.
Compatible with most modern iOS and Android devices, you can unlock doors using unique access credentials stored in the user record in Protege and authenticated via a secure cloud server.

The TSL reader protects its encrypted communications using a certified EAL6+ Secure Access Module (SAM) - a dedicated cryptographic chip.
The SAM acts as a "black box" that stores all encryption keys and handles encryption and decryption processes when the reader communicates with credentials or other hardware.
Using an isolated chip ensures the highest possible level of security for private encryption keys, making them significantly more difficult for attackers to access.

The TSL reader uses signature verification to confirm the authenticity of firmware updates, ensuring that only firmware files from a trusted source will be accepted.

The IP65 protection rating provides a high degree of weather resistance, making the reader suitable for demanding environments. Readers can be mounted indoors or outdoors, anywhere from a car park gate to an office door.
